Developing a succuessful e-commerce site is no mean feat. It takes a lot of work. That being said, there are a number of tools around to make the job easier. WooCommerce, for example, is an extension for Wordpress, and will allow you, the owner, to take control of your online business. Magento, on the other hand, is a behemoth, and really designed for those larger stores. If you're after a bespoke offering, well, I can do that too. If you'd like to have a chat, then please get in touch.
As part of the development process, I like to put the power back in your hands. I've noticed that a lot of website owners have problems communicating with their developers and mainly for 2 reasons:
1) The developer gets cagey about waht you know, because if you know too much, it could reduce the amount of work going to them, and:
2) The website owner is either not interested or thinks it's too hard, with the latter being fundamentally a result of the communcation breakdown caused in point 1.
Well, I'm here to break that cycle. I like to communicate, so I'll tell you how to do it, even if you don't want to know. I'm also confident enough in my approach to know that if my work starts to thin out because I've shown you too much that more work will come, because I've created a happy customer.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
This is a pretty new area for me, but I know it's something all my clients want me to do for them, so I'm endeavouring to learn. I've got a number of different strategies that I already employ. If you want to know more, look here.
In combination with the SEO, I'm providing hosting, on my platform. You can read more about that here.
